Our Story We are a group of ordinary people seeking an extraordinary adventure with God. Our passion is to share Christ’s love by loving our neighbors. We believe that God has called us to make a significant impact in the lives of the people in our community by loving them and teaching them how to love God and love each other. We began this Journey with a spiritual awakening - a call to love others as Christ commanded us. The passion to truly teach others HOW to love, and to serve in tangible ways by loving our community has burned deep in our hearts each day since this awakening. But what does that mean??? We had no idea! So in April, 2006, a group of friends with this same desire attended a church planting conference where we were exposed to hundreds of church planters and church leaders all desiring to see churches with this vision. It was at this conference that we accepted the challenge to explore the possibility of a new church. So we explored, and we prayed, and we explored some more, and then we were offered the amazing opportunity to partner with a church planting organization called Stadia (www.Stadia.cc) to begin Journey 2L2. The word 'Journey' expresses the adventure of partnering with God in loving others. 'L2' represents Jesus' commandment to 1) Love God and 2) Love others. |
